Curlashes accepts ten payment methods, all processed securely at checkout through Shopify Payments and trusted third-party providers. The full list of methods available to you is displayed at checkout before you pay.
Credit & Debit Cards
Major card networks accepted for all US orders. Every card payment is processed by our PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.
Digital Wallets
Fast, secure payment on compatible devices and browsers. Your card details are never shared with us when you pay this way.
Requires a compatible device and an enabled wallet. Availability is shown automatically at checkout.
PayPal & Amazon Pay
Pay through your PayPal or Amazon account without entering card details on our site. Both are available to all US customers.
A PayPal account is not required — PayPal guest checkout lets you pay by card through their platform.
When is payment charged?
We do not split payments, bill you later, or enrol you in any recurring charge. When you confirm your order, your selected payment method is charged for the full order total shown on screen, including shipping and any applicable sales tax. No further charge is applied afterwards unless you place a separate order. Your order confirmation email is your receipt — keep it, as the order number on it is the first thing we ask for on any support query.
Apple Pay & Google Pay
Available on mobile devices and on desktop browsers that support these wallets — Safari for Apple Pay, and Chrome, Edge or Opera for Google Pay. Payment is authenticated on your own device using Face ID, Touch ID or your device PIN, and your card number is never shared with Curlashes.
PayPal & Amazon Pay
Both are available to all US customers. With PayPal you can check out as a guest using a credit or debit card without opening a PayPal account. PayPal Buyer Protection and Amazon Pay’s A-to-z Guarantee apply to eligible purchases under those providers’ own terms, which sit alongside — and do not replace — your rights under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Not accepted
We do not accept cryptocurrency, wire transfers, money orders, personal checks, gift cards issued by other retailers, cash on delivery, or buy-now-pay-later instalment services. We also do not operate any subscription, auto-replenishment or negative-option billing programme — every Curlashes order is a single, one-time purchase that you actively place. If you need to discuss an alternative arrangement, email support@curlashes.com.
Every transaction on curlashes.com is protected by industry-standard security. We use Shopify Payments and certified third-party processors, which means your card details are handled exclusively by those certified systems and never touch our own infrastructure.
Security standards
Curlashes does not process card data on its own infrastructure. All payment data is handled by Shopify Payments and our certified payment processor. We never see, transmit or store your full card number, CVV, or sensitive authentication data at any point during or after the transaction.
SSL / TLS Encryption
Every page on curlashes.com is served over HTTPS with modern TLS encryption. Data transmitted between your browser and the store is encrypted in transit. Look for the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.
PCI DSS Level 1
Shopify Payments holds PCI DSS Level 1 certification, the highest standard in the payment card industry. Card data handling, storage and transmission all meet those requirements.
3D Secure Authentication
We support 3D Secure as a best practice for card-not-present transactions. When it is triggered, you may be redirected to your card issuer to verify your identity through Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check or Amex SafeKey before the payment is approved.
Fraud Detection
Our payment processor screens every transaction in real time. Unusual patterns — a mismatched billing address, an atypical order size, a high-risk IP — can trigger automatic review, and some orders may require additional verification before we fulfil them.
No card data stored
We do not store your full card number, CVV or expiry date. Your CVV is never retained after authorisation — that is a strict requirement of PCI DSS. If you save a card to your account for future purchases, only a secure payment token held by the processor is stored, never the raw card data.
3D Secure — how it works
3D Secure adds a second layer of authentication at checkout. Depending on your card network you may see:
• Visa Secure (formerly Verified by Visa)
• Mastercard Identity Check
• Amex SafeKey
You are redirected to your bank to authenticate with a one-time code, an app notification or a biometric check. It adds no cost to your order.
Curlashes serves customers in the United States. All prices are displayed and charged in US Dollars. The currency you see at checkout is the currency you are charged in.
Currency — USD only
Currency: US Dollar (USD, $). All prices shown on curlashes.com are in USD, and your card, PayPal or Amazon Pay account is charged in USD.
What your total includes
The total shown at checkout is made up of the product price, the shipping charge calculated for your address, and any applicable US sales tax. Shipping is calculated and displayed before you confirm payment — it is never added afterwards. There are no handling fees, no surcharges applied later, and nothing collected on delivery. Full shipping detail is in our Shipping Policy.
Foreign transaction fees — charged by your bank
If your card is issued outside the United States or is billed in another currency, your bank or card issuer may apply a foreign transaction fee, typically 1–3% of the transaction. That fee is charged by your bank, not by Curlashes, and is outside our control. Check with your card issuer before ordering if this concerns you.
Understanding how the charge appears on your statement saves a lot of worry between placing an order and seeing it settle. Curlashes charges your payment method in full at checkout.
How it works
Your payment method is charged for the full order total when you place the order
You receive an order confirmation email immediately, which is your receipt
Your order is dispatched within 24–48 hours and you receive a tracking email
No second charge is ever applied to the same order
“Pending” on your statement
A new charge often shows as “pending” or “processing” on your bank or card statement for 1–3 business days before it settles. This is your bank’s normal posting cycle, not a second charge and not an error.
The amount you see pending should match your order confirmation exactly. If it does not, email us and we will look into it straight away.
Seeing two charges for one order?
If your checkout failed and you retried, your bank may have placed a temporary authorisation for the failed attempt alongside the successful charge. The failed authorisation is not money taken and drops off automatically, usually within 3–5 business days, though some banks take up to 7. Only one settled charge will ever appear for one order. If two settled charges appear for a single order number, contact support@curlashes.com with your order number and we will refund the duplicate immediately.
Order cancelled before dispatch
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch if an item sells out, if a pricing error is identified, or if the payment is flagged for verification and cannot be confirmed. Because we charge at checkout rather than on dispatch, a cancellation means a refund rather than a released hold.
Refund on cancellation
We initiate the refund to your original payment method as soon as the order is cancelled, and email you to explain why. Timings by method are set out in Section 06.
Changing your mind
If you want to cancel your own order, email us within the 24–48 hour dispatch window with your order number. Once a parcel has left us it cannot be recalled, but it may be eligible for return under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
If your payment fails at checkout, your order is not confirmed and no charge is taken. Below are the most common reasons and what to do about each.
Common reasons for decline
Insufficient funds: the balance available does not cover the order total
Limit exceeded: the order exceeds your daily spend or single-transaction limit
Bank declined: your bank blocked the transaction, usually for fraud prevention
Expired card: the expiry date on the card has passed
Incorrect details: card number, expiry, CVV or billing address entered wrongly
3D Secure not completed: the verification step was cancelled or timed out
What to do
Re-check your card number, expiry date and CVV, then retry checkout
Confirm your billing address matches your card issuer’s records exactly, zip code included
Try a different card — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover and Diners Club are all accepted
Use PayPal or Amazon Pay instead, both available without entering card details on our site
Call your bank and ask whether they blocked the transaction, and if so to approve it
If it still fails, email support@curlashes.com
Steps to resolve a failed payment
Return to checkout and carefully re-enter your card number, expiry date, CVV and billing address. Small typos are the most common cause of failure. Make sure the billing address matches your card issuer’s records exactly, including zip code formatting.
If your issuer asks you to verify through Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check or Amex SafeKey, complete that step and do not close the browser window while it is open. If it timed out, return to checkout and try again.
If the same card keeps declining, switch to PayPal or Amazon Pay, or use another card. PayPal allows guest checkout, so you do not need a PayPal account to pay that way.
Some banks automatically block first-time purchases from a merchant they have not seen before. Call the number on the back of your card, ask whether a block was placed on the transaction, and ask them to approve curlashes.com as a trusted merchant.
If none of the above works, email support@curlashes.com. Include the email address you used at checkout, the payment method you tried, and the exact error message you saw. We respond within 24–48 business hours, Monday to Friday.
Bank fraud triggers — worth knowing
Heads up: some US banks automatically flag online purchases from unfamiliar merchants as potential fraud. If your card is declined and your balance is fine, your bank’s fraud system has most likely intervened. This is the single most common cause of an unexplained decline. A short call to your bank’s fraud department to confirm the purchase is yours usually releases the block. Nothing is wrong on our end when this happens.
Refunds are always returned to the original payment method used at checkout. We cannot refund to a different card, bank account or wallet. Whether a refund is due in the first place is governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy — this section covers the mechanics of how the money gets back to you.
Refund method — original payment only
Refunds go back to the same card, PayPal account, Amazon Pay account, or wallet source used when the order was placed. We are not able to redirect a refund to a different card or account. If your original card has been cancelled or replaced since you ordered, your bank will normally route the refund to your replacement card or account — contact them to confirm. Once a refund has been processed on our end we cannot hold or redirect it.
Our side of the timeline
For a returned item, we inspect it within 1–3 business days of arrival and email you the outcome. Approved refunds are issued within 10 business days of that approval. The timings below are what happens after we release the money — they are controlled by your bank or wallet provider, not by us.
Refund processing timeline by payment method
Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Diners Club)
5–10 business days after we initiate the refund. The exact timing is set by your card network and issuing bank. You receive a refund confirmation email from us when it is initiated, and the credit may take a further 1–2 business days to appear depending on your bank’s posting cycle.
PayPal
3–5 business days after we initiate the refund. Funds return to your PayPal balance. If you then withdraw that balance to your bank, standard PayPal transfer times apply, typically 1–3 further business days for US accounts.
Amazon Pay
3–5 business days after we initiate the refund, returned to the payment method held in your Amazon account. If that is a card, your issuing bank may add its own posting time on top.
Apple Pay, Google Pay & Shop Pay
Varies by bank — typically 5–10 business days. Wallet refunds are returned to the underlying card or bank account linked to the wallet, so they follow the same timeline as a standard card refund. Check with your bank if nothing has appeared after 10 business days.
Important refund rules
We cannot refund to a card or account other than the one used for the order. This is a security requirement of our payment processor, not a preference. If you have closed that card or account, speak to your bank — most route refunds to the replacement automatically.
Partial refunds
If only part of an order is refunded — one item from several, for instance — the partial amount appears as a separate credit on your statement alongside the original charge. You receive an itemised refund confirmation by email.
Refund not received?
If 10 business days have passed since our refund confirmation email and you still cannot see the credit, check with your bank or card issuer first. If they confirm nothing is pending, email support@curlashes.com with your order number and we will trace it.
Curlashes is operated by Cancel Culture LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States. Our payment processing complies with applicable US federal and state law.
FTC payment disclosure
In line with Federal Trade Commission guidance, Curlashes discloses all payment terms before checkout. You are shown the full order total — product price, shipping and any applicable tax — before you confirm and pay. We do not use negative option billing, hidden auto-renewal, or pre-ticked add-ons.
California customers — CCPA
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have rights over the personal data we hold, including payment-related data. What we keep is limited to card type, the last four digits, the amount and the transaction status. We never sell your personal information for money. See our Privacy Policy for full disclosures, including how to opt out of advertising-related sharing.
3D Secure — best practice, not a US requirement
Unlike European markets, the United States does not mandate Strong Customer Authentication. Curlashes supports 3D Secure anyway, as a best practice that reduces card-not-present fraud and protects you against someone else using your card details. When it triggers, it adds a verification step at your bank at no cost to you.
Chargebacks — please talk to us first
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorised, email support@curlashes.com before raising a chargeback with your bank. We keep full order documentation, including tracking records, payment confirmations and fulfilment evidence, and most billing disputes are resolved within a couple of business days when raised with us directly. A chargeback typically takes 45–90 days and resolves nothing faster. Raising a chargeback for an order confirmed as delivered, while refusing to engage with us, is a breach of our Terms of Service.
Payment data collection disclosure
When you place an order, our payment processor collects the data needed to complete the transaction. Curlashes receives only a limited, non-sensitive summary of it.
What we receive
Card type (Visa, for example), the last four digits of the card number, payment status (approved or declined), a transaction ID, and the amount. We use this to fulfil your order and to support you afterwards.
What we never receive
Your full card number, CVV or PIN. These are handled entirely by Shopify Payments and our certified processor. Our systems have no access to your full card data at any point.
Data retention: transaction records — order amount, card type, last four digits, payment status — are retained for seven years for accounting, fraud prevention and legal record-keeping, in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable US federal and state requirements.
For any question about a payment, a charge, a duplicate or a billing matter, contact us directly. We answer payment queries personally within 24–48 business hours.

PCI DSS compliant
Your payment data is never stored on our servers. Curlashes uses Shopify Payments, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment service provider, to handle all card transactions. Full card numbers, CVV codes and sensitive authentication data are never written to, transmitted through, or stored on our systems at any point in the payment process.
What to include in your payment enquiry
To get your query resolved on the first reply, include: (1) your order number, or the email address used at checkout; (2) the payment method used — for example “Visa ending 1234” or “PayPal”; (3) the approximate date and amount of the transaction; and (4) a short description of the issue, such as an unexpected pending charge, a refund that has not arrived, or a suspected double charge. With those four details we can locate the transaction immediately and come back to you with next steps rather than more questions.
Our team handles every payment query directly — no bots, no queues. Reach us at support@curlashes.com, Monday to Friday.
